THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO CHANGE

Is that bold to say?
Maybe.

But right now, it feels completely true.

I’ve taken my first public steps as an artist. My debut EP, Redwood Lane, is now out in the world — no longer just demos on a hard drive or late-night recordings, but something real, something you can actually press play on. It’s a small collection of songs, but to me, it holds years of thoughts, stories, and the courage it took to finally share them.

This isn’t stadium lights or sold-out rooms.
It’s something even more important.

This is the moment when the music is no longer just mine.

There’s something powerful about knowing that a song written in a quiet room can now find its way into someone else’s headphones on the other side of the world. That someone might recognize themselves in the same lines, the same melodies, the same feelings.

Redwood Lane was born out of a love for storytelling — the kind filled with dusty roads, long shadows, and honest emotion. Country and americana aren’t just genres to me; they’re ways of telling the truth without taking detours.

“The world is about to change” doesn’t mean the world shifts overnight.
It means my world already has.

I’ve stepped forward.

And this is only the beginning.

Yours, MRKS81
