REDWOOD LANE – EP

Redwood Lane is a nostalgic country EP built around mellow tempos, acoustic guitar, harmonica, and subtle fiddle lines. It’s a collection of songs that lean into quiet moments — stories about simple life, personal growth, and the gentle pull of home. Each track carries a warm, sunset-colored feeling, like driving familiar roads with the windows down and memories close at hand.

The EP moves slowly on purpose. It reflects on where we come from, how time changes us, and how certain places — and feelings — never fully let go. Redwood Lane is about remembering, reconnecting, and finding comfort in what once felt ordinary.

Take Me Back

Take Me Back is a love letter to childhood summers — endless days, warm sun, and a life without clocks or worries. It’s a song I’ve wanted to write for a long time. One evening, those memories finally found their way into music, capturing that golden feeling of freedom and the longing to return, even just for a moment.

Red Ribbon of Daisy Sue

This song has a long history. It was first written over a decade ago on acoustic guitar, later arranged into a full track in my DAW. I originally shared it on SoundCloud, where it quietly lived for a few years without much attention — a familiar experience for an unknown indie artist. Eventually, the song (and my old account) disappeared. Looking back now, it feels right to bring it back with new perspective, experience, and care.

Tracey’s Way

This is a country story about chasing dreams and listening to what the heart never forgets. Set between slow-running creeks and glowing city lights, the song follows a small-town girl who leaves home with a guitar and big hopes, only to discover that success doesn’t always feel like belonging.

Built on acoustic guitar, harmonica, and gentle fiddle, the track moves at an unhurried pace, echoing barefoot summers, porch-light nights, and the quiet pull of familiar places. It’s a reminder that no matter how far life takes us, the places that shaped us keep calling — and sometimes the bravest journey is the one back home

Old Porch Swing

This song is a love letter to the kind of life that doesn’t rush. It lives in redbud blooms and back roads, porch swings at sunrise, and the quiet moments that end up meaning the most. It’s about young dreams of faraway cities, and the gentle realization that everything you need might already be right where you are.

Rooted in small-town details and slow summer days, the song captures a feeling of warmth, gratitude, and belonging — a reminder that home isn’t just a place, but a shared moment. Sometimes the brightest lights aren’t in the distance at all, but glowing softly right outside, where life feels gold and green.

Long Way Home

This song captures the quiet journey back to where everything feels familiar again. Set against open fields, small towns, and a summer evening slowly turning gold, it tells the story of leaving a fast, crowded life behind and rediscovering calm on the long drive home.

As the road stretches on, memories surface — old friendships, wide skies, and a sense of self that got lost somewhere between city lights and endless noise. With each passing mile, the rush fades and something warmer takes its place. It’s a song about slowing down, breathing again, and realizing that home isn’t just a destination, but a return to who you’ve always been.
